UbiPharm Madagascar and AFG Bank launch the PACK TONGASOA 01 | 01
On January 20, 2026, UbiPharm Madagascar and AFG Bank Madagascar signed a partnership agreement at the Novotel Alarobia Hotel to launch PACK TONGASOA, a program designed to support young pharmacists in setting up their own pharmacies.
The PACK TONGASOA was created through a shared commitment between UbiPharm Madagascar and AFG Bank Madagascar to provide tangible support to young pharmacists looking to set up their own practices. This program aims to facilitate access to suitable financing solutions and to secure the early stages of establishing a pharmacy.
The signing ceremony brought together nearly 50 participants, including teams from UbiPharm Madagascar (General Management, commercial and financial managers), representatives from AFG Bank Madagascar, as well as many assistant and licensed pharmacists.
The presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of UbiPharm Madagascar and the President of the Order of Pharmacists highlighted the strategic importance of this initiative for the future of the profession and the strengthening of the pharmacy network in Madagascar.
Discussions also underscored a shared ambition: to encourage pharmaceutical entrepreneurship, strengthen the territorial coverage of pharmacies, and contribute to improving access to healthcare.
Through the PACK TONGASOA program, UbiPharm Madagascar reaffirms its commitment alongside pharmacists and partners to support the development of the pharmaceutical sector and those who work every day in service of health.
