UbiPharm Guinée accelerates its transformation to improve access to healthcare solutions 01 | 01
UbiPharm Guinée, a leading wholesaler-distributor of pharmaceutical and parapharmaceutical products in Guinea, is holding its Board of Directors meeting—along with those of the Group’s French entities—from 18 to 21 November in Conakry. On this occasion, the company announces several major investments aimed at strengthening access to healthcare solutions in the country.
Enhanced logistics capacities
As part of the Board meeting, a construction site visit is planned for directors and partners at the new headquarters currently being built. Equipped with a fully air-conditioned warehouse and modern handling tools, the new site will at least double the company’s current storage capacity and improve the preservation conditions of health products. The construction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2026.
At the same time, UbiPharm Guinée confirms the acquisition of a 12-hectare plot of land intended to accommodate new logistics infrastructures in the medium term.
“These future headquarters and expansion projects reflect our commitment to anticipating the needs of the Guinean market and providing our teams with the means to ensure better availability of medicines across the country,” said Mr. Martial TCHOUA, Managing Director of UbiPharm Guinée.
Digitalised payments with Orange Money
UbiPharm Guinée has also integrated merchant payments through Orange Money, replacing manual processes with an automated and secure system. This development reduces order processing times, strengthens traceability, and simplifies daily operations for community pharmacists.
Launch of a digital parapharmacy catalogue and a modernised extranet
Accessible through the UbiPharm Guinée extranet, the digital parapharmacy catalogue will facilitate the consultation and tracking of parapharmaceutical product orders. It will allow pharmacists to view all available parapharmaceutical products in Guinea, access product images and descriptions, and follow new items and promotions in real time.
UbiPharm Guinée’s extranet will also adopt the UbiPharm Group’s new digital identity. Clearer and more ergonomic, it becomes the primary access point for pharmacists to browse the full range of medicines and parapharmaceutical products, track their orders, and access key company information.
The official launch of both platforms is scheduled for early December 2025.
A renewed commitment to healthcare in Guinea
“By modernising our infrastructures, digital tools, and payment solutions, we are strengthening the safety of the pharmaceutical supply chain and our proximity to pharmacists, with the aim of promoting access to healthcare throughout the Guinean territory,” said Mr. Aboubacar KEITA, Chairman of the Board of Directors of UbiPharm Guinée.
A subsidiary of the UbiPharm Group, UbiPharm GuinÉE has been operating in the country since 2018. Its primary mission is to distribute high-quality medicines and healthcare products in close collaboration with pharmacies and healthcare professionals in Guinea.
