The UbiPharm Foundation Supports
Kidney Health with a Dual Donation

The UbiPharm Foundation presented a dual donation in Libreville to support the management of kidney failure: two dialysis generators for the National Hemodialysis Center, as well as IT and reprographic equipment for the Gabonese Society of Nephrology (SOGANEPH).

The ceremony took place in the presence of the Minister of Health, highlighting the spirit of cooperation between public stakeholders and partners mobilized around key health issues.

This support pursues a clear objective: strengthening care capacity at the National Hemodialysis Center and supporting SOGANEPH in its prevention and awareness-raising initiatives, including outreach across the country. This approach aligns with the reality of a disease often diagnosed too late, with serious consequences for patients and their families.

Ms. Juliette Egnankou, Chairwoman of the Board of the UbiPharm Foundation, explains:
“Kidney failure often progresses silently. By providing this equipment, we aim to support medical teams working directly in the field and strengthen the prevention efforts led by SOGANEPH. Our responsibility is to act in a practical and meaningful way alongside those who provide care and raise awareness.”

Dr. Arthur Kanganga Ekomie, Secretary General of SOGANEPH, emphasizes:
“Prevention remains the most powerful lever to detect disease earlier and better protect our populations. The equipment provided by the UbiPharm Foundation will help us be more effective in supporting patients.”

Dr. Zacharie Mfourou, Director General of the National Hemodialysis Center, adds:
“This donation strengthens our capacity to act and improves patient care at the National Hemodialysis Center. We thank the UbiPharm Foundation for this support, which will make a real difference.”

Created to support healthcare structures and enhance the impact of socially driven initiatives, the UbiPharm Foundation focuses its actions on four main areas: hospitals and healthcare facilities, education, scientific research, and access to drinking water.
