From 24 to 28 November, our subsidiaries organized their annual seminar in Rouen, bringing together the accounting and finance managers from UbiPharm Group’s wholesale entities in Africa and the French overseas departments, as well as the auditors. This key gathering aims to strengthen team cohesion, harmonize practices, and support the evolution of finance-related roles within the Group.
The first two days were dedicated to training led by a speaker from Francis Lefebvre, focused on the transformation and performance of the accounting and finance function. This session helped raise participants’ awareness of new challenges in the profession, including the evolution of digital tools and the strategic role that finance now plays within organizations.
The week continued with several discussion sessions addressing issues encountered across the Group’s various entities. These exchanges encouraged the sharing of experiences, the identification of common solutions, and the strengthening of operational synergies.
These discussions fostered the sharing of experiences, the identification of common solutions, and the strengthening of operational synergies. A dedicated exchange was also held with the leadership teams of PlanetPharma, our logistics subsidiary specializing in pharmaceutical import and export, who contributed to the discussions and provided additional insight on specific topics.
Participants paid tribute to Mr. Simon Traoré, Administrative and Financial Director of UbiPharm Mali, who tragically passed away in August. Highly regarded within the Group, he is remembered as a dedicated, rigorous, and deeply human professional.
This seminar once again reflects the Group’s commitment to supporting its teams, strengthening ties between subsidiaries, and guiding the transformation of professions in an ever-evolving environment.
